When I saw the Horror Stories forum I couldn't resist posting links to my site and blog relating to such stories we have worked on.
See http://www.hcgexperts.com/blog/residential-construction-disputes/ and http://www.disputesinconstruction.com/residential-construction-disputes/
My series of articles on construction contract change orders at http://www.hcgexperts.com/newsletter/ecr-issue-81.html also identified many more horror stories.

For all the concrete contractors, take a look at http://www.disputesinconstruction.com/construction-defects-post-tensioned-concrete-decks/ where I illustrate a few of the major problems that my client, the hotel/condo developer, encountered when neither the GC nor the concrete sub knew how to place and level PT decks.
I've also got a bunch of photos I can post. The worst part of it is that they installed carpet, tile, base boards, etc., and then had to ripe it all out after the architect rejected the work.
Best to level such floors before finishes, don't you agree?

I am currently dealing with a builder that is cutting corners everywhere he can and turning our home into a poorly built bag of crap. I can't believe he can get away with it but he is and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do.

And yet you are advertising for a builder in your signature line...?

How is he cutting corners? He should be building to the construction documents and/ or his bid contract.

I wouldn't exactly call that link a glowing advertisment.
