While framing the basement the framer (he’s since got fired by the framing company) made a frame of 2 X 4 studs attached to the common concrete wall with the bottom plate resting on the concrete footing. This was done before I had poured the basement concrete slab. When I pour the concrete for the basement slab, the concrete is going to cover the bottom plate of this frame plus a couple of inches of all the studs in this frame that is supporting the stairs. Should I cut out the bottom plate and all the studs and then reframe them after the concrete slab is poured?
Thanks very much.

Yes, remove it.

I just managed to contact the framing company and they say it doesn't matter. I don't agree with him, but how do I point out to him that it's not right, like what reasons do I give him? If this is not in the building code, then I can just tell them that. what problems will it give in the future?
Thanks

All organic material and wood concrete form material is to be removed. Any wood in ground contact must be treated to .60 pcf or equivalent. Those are code sections that pop to mind, not perferct fits. Here that would be considered a termite pathway. Hang them from the floor framing above and remove the wood, it's a 5 minute job. I assume there is a building department involved, give them a call and ask.
