I have been considering using ICF's for exterior walls. Two companies that do a fair amount of work in east Texas are Polysteel and PerformWall. Does anyone have feelings about these products either way or another ICF?
They tout savings on house insurance of up to 50% but the three insurance companies I approached said they would give it the same as a brick house. Mainly it seems, because they are not familiar with the fire resistant qualities of such forms. Has anyone actually gotten reduced insurance rates using ICF's?
Again thanks in advance for your help, Tejas... starting my home construction soon... I hope.
