Cost of upgrades ??

Hello all, we are building a new home. Builder supplys two 10 seer York units. I wanted to upgrade this to at least a 12. Will be manatory in a couple of years by our county anyway. It is $550 per unit to upgrade from a 10 to a 12. Seem reasonable ? Also around $1500 for a gravity loop system for a 3600 sf. 2 1/2 bath seem ok ?? Thanks

Doesn't sound bad at all on the gravity loop - the difference in 10vs12 might be a little high - but not much.

thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sure that' an acurate price for the gravity loop. Plumber is sending me upgrades list. Local utility is not running their rebates anymore on high efficency units, but maybe other manufactures are.
