I am in the planning stages of building a 24'X30' garage. I was wondering which is the best way to run the drain. Option 1 - Run the drain from the center of the garage floor 40' feet to the basement of the house and into the castiron sewer pipe. I have to go through 8" rock faced block then dig a trench in the crawl space and go through a brick wall into the basement bathroom and into the sewer line. Option 2 - Just run the drain from the center of the floor out into the yard. Or a dutch drain if this is legal??

I would suggest using a trench drain at the doors.. then slope the garage like you typically would - to the doors. Then you don't have to worry about slope towards the center with ridges and valleys. You can buy presloped drains and pour them directly into the slab. Take that and daylight it or french drain it 10' away from the building.
