A sash chisel is essentially a mortise chisel which can be used for day to day tasks - they are pretty heavy duty chisels even though most are pretty thin in width.
Double hooped chisels are really just a name given to the handles that have a "ferrule" at the top and bottom. Some manufacturers don't make a distinction for double hooped chisel because it's their standard to put double hooped handles on all their chisels. So any chisel can have a double hooped handle - just depends on manufacturer.

Henry Taylor also makes a double hooped registered chisel... or are you just talking the registered chisel you purchased.
