can dremel 542 cutting wheel be attached to dremel 280 tool

I just bought dremel model 280 on ebay. I was told by a user here to use a dremel 542 cutting/shaping wheel to carve a 2-in diameter shallow bowl-shape into wood. Will this attachment fit a model 280? I'm new to this..thanks!

They should be all interchangeable - although there are 2 different sizes of shanks for the bits .. all kits come standard with both sizes of collets. So there should be no problem.
