Floor joist load question

I used 2x12's 16" oc at a span of 14'. The whole width of house is 28'. I plan to pour a slab of 1- 1/2" of concrete (less stone) for radiant heat. Do you think the 2x12's will be ok with out support in the middle at 7'......

With 40 live load and 20 dead load your max span is around 16' for 2x12s @ 16" o.c. It's cutting it pretty close IMO. I'm no engineer - but the span will depend on many other factors than what I can assume here. I would suggest talking to an engineer just to double check.

I ran the joist at 40 pound live load and 35 dead load. It seems to work fine
