I live in an older house which has a shoddily built add on room in the back for a laundry area. It looses a lot of heat in the winter, and although i am going to shore up the weather proofing, I would like to block off that are of my home to save on heating costs.
I could add an interior door, but they are not designed to isulate at all. An entry door would be overkill.
I am open to any ideas. I was thinking maybe a sliding curtain or some such thing. Any help much appreciated!

Thanx!

I've seen insulated curtains that you could modify to work. The one I saw was at a bed and bath store and was made of duck canvas with an 1/8" insulated foam pad or something on one side. You could modify it fairly easily to attach at the top and one side and maybe attach a weight on the other bottom side to hang tight to the opening. Or use a couple strips of velcro if you needed to get back there.
