WHICH IS BETTER: GREEN OR BLACK GARDEN HOSE FOR RUNNING NATURAL GAS LINE. MY BUDDY SUGGESTS GREEN FOR CONTRAST. ALSO CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND THE BEST TYPE OF CONNECTION SEALER FOR THE HOSE CONNECTIONS. ALSO HOW MANY "Y" ADAPTORS CAN WE USE BEFORE PRESSURE DROPS TOO LOW. OUR SHED IS ABOUT 250' BEHIND OUR TROUSE.

I sure as hell hope this person is kidding! You are kidding? Right?
No this actually does happen and I kept my words to myself. Pretty mush you would have to be crazy to use a regular garden hose.

Speechless!
I would love to see a inspector walk up to a house with a garden hose gas line.

This can't be a serious question though...right? Why would someone ask what color hose to use?
...The Y joints - okay.... maybe.
but I couldn't sleep at night if I knew there was gas running through a garden hose in my backyard.

This is NOT a serious post - I'd put money on it. Its a TROLL. A troll is someone that enters a forum just to stir the pot and raise trouble. Best is to ignore completely. Trust me on this as I have experience with a number of 'net bulletin boards.
Additionally, you can tell he's not net savy because he's yelling (all caps).
IGNORE!
I AGREE HE IS A TROLL, BAN HIM RICH!!!!

You know, if this is a real question, HEYITSERIC might be a bit embarrassed to continue the thread. But at least he /she is aware that there is a bit of a flaw in their plans.

I thought everyone knew that you were supposed to use the clear hose so you could guage the movement of the gas visually.

Damn!!... see, I'm glad we consult the professionals, they're the ones with experience.
...but Dragon....WHAT ABOUT MY CONTRAST?!?! transparent tubing doesn't "GO" with the rest of the decor!

Funny, when I read name real fast is looks like 'hysteric'. Probably part of the joke, but he'll never beat that 'toilet paper' rant!
Maybe there should be a "Don't Do It Yourself" section.

hi this Heyitseric again. Little confused about which way to go. Some y'all is saying it aint safe to use garden hose at all, while other are tellin me about a new transparent garden hose, I never have seen that but it sure makes sense to me. Anyways i appreciate all your help. Now i can take a ribbin' cause this computer thing is all new to me. Anyways wanted to address that matter so hear goes. My back bedroom took on quite alot of water damage and flooded too, the drywall was like mush cept' didnt taste as good, just kidding about the taste part. Anyways my buddy and I estimated the repair cost and decided to go ahead and just demo the room. Fortunately, it was an addition to the house and was quite easy to remove. After the demolition it left me with a thin pine door that opened to the backyard with about 4 foot drop to the grass. Now when I was building my house I lived in a double-wide trailer that was now in the backwoods. With a little framing and roofing materials we connected that trailer right up to the doorframe, adding whole lot more space then that bedroom! Now here is the part I am confused about, my mama visited me on her holiday and dubbed my place the trouse (trailer+house=trouse). I have no idea what a troll is?!?!? Anyways thanks for help I am planning on starting the gas line project before the winter frost. I will be watching for y'alls help. thanks again, heyitseric.

Heyitseric, - - you've got a great sense of humor. Hope you'll be stickin' around. Your 'gas garden' idea sounds 'dynamite', but I'd like to take this opportunity to go on record to say, - - "don't try this at home", - - (or even at trouse").
