Hello all,
I am trying to get a BOM together for converting an attached 20x20 garage to living space (master bath) and then adding a 24x24 attached garage to that.
Currently, I have a tri-level w/ attached garage and I am trying to convert the attached garage to a master bedroom for my 82 year old father who is having trouble getting up/down stairs.
Anyway, the plan is to add a 3/4 bath with the rest of the space being a bedroom with the exception of a 4'6" ilse way (mudroom) going from the new garage to enter the dining room.
If you know tri-levels, the entrance door to the garage is from the dining/living room part. It drops down about 15 inches to the garage floor, which I will use this space to run plumbing, heating ducts, etc. The floor will be even when going from the dining room to where the mud room starts.
Sorry for the rambling but I am just trying to give you all as much information that I can so you can help me out.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Mike
