Hi all, our mechanicals will be going in soon. I have upgraded from 10 seer to 12 seer units (two) I'm getting recirculating loops to both upstairs baths. The Hvac guy said, when I inquired about getting a 2 stage furnace for the upstairs, that having 2 seperate systems will make it not nessesary. Is this right ? I thought that since heat goes up, a 2 stage system will run on low more often. I also found out that both furnaces will be in the basement. Wouldn't it be more efficient to have the upstairs furnace in the attic ? thanks all
