I've been using the pre-release version of Firefox (internet browser) for a while now, and today they released version 1.0. It's much faster than Internet Explorer, has some cool features, and is supposedly less vulnerable to security risks. You can download it here:

That's what I've been using for months now, and there is no subtitute! It blocks all the CRAP that IE can't block.

There are still a few apps I need IE to use, but for browsing and searching, it's great to protect you.

...and multiple tabs in the same browser window is awsome for keeping your task bar empty

If you have XP then installing service pack two cleans up Internet Explorer
