Hi,

I have completed all framing of a 1300 sqf basement and am now ready to start the drywall for ceiling and walls. In the past I have hung drywall with nails or screws using an ordinary drill. I am thinking about purchasing a Senco Duraspin Power Driver DS200 that uses strips of collated drywall screws or the 14.4 V cordless model that uses the same screws. Anyone have much experience with these tools and if so do you recommend one over the other? Naturally cordless is more convenient, but how is the battery life and overall power after a couple hours use?

Thanks for any advice.

But the Dewalt I own can go just about a whole day of putting screws in drywall. I just bought a dimpler screw tip and it works great. If I were to buy one now I would probably go with the Rigid or Panasonic.. heard good things about Hitachi cordless also.

I have a 14.4

I've never run one battery down before the other one recharged.
