Has anybody been able to find White Lightning's new dripless caulk gun? If you have, does it work as advertised? The so-called dripless ones at Home Depot really are just guns that drip less than others.

While on the subject of caulk, what do you use to keep open tubes of caulk, constuction adhesive, and silicone from drying out? I've heard that really large electrical connectors work, but I haven't tried them yet. I tend to throw away way more product than I actually use.

I've seen some red tip condoms. I'm serious about that too :) Never used that White Lightnings caulk gun.

I've used so called dripless caulk guns. Let's just say they drip less but aren't dripless. ;)

Yep - large electrical marettes (yellow or orange size) seem to work very well, failing that a simple wood screw of proper shank size.

For a fresh start, - - sqeeze a little out right before you cap it.
