New house construction and water lines are being run in the wall connecting house to attached garage. I am worried about these lines freezing as the garage may not always be heated. Is it sufficient to wrap the lines individually and have them run as close to the inside of the house as possible? Should they not be run there no matter what? (we do have fixtures that are along the wall and even fixtures in living space above garage)? any suggestions appreciated. We live in Southern MN.
