i see no one is interested, is it so lame? ...maybe the question is wrong... i just want to know how to interac different subs in a phase and if my chronology is wright...ex: do you keep a plumber and electriciens on call, for connections when one job is done, and so on, or you make them a schedule at diffrent time frames, same for excavation crue,etc...and do you make a contract for every intervention or just one for everything....feedback please.
Ok - I will put in order of when they can start instead of so linear.
1-Excavation
1-Drill well
1-Septic
2-Foundation
2-Rough-in electrical, septic, water, and gas through foundation
2-Perimeter drain
3-Framing
3-Rough-in electrical
3-Rough-in plumbing
3-Rough-in mechanical
4-Backfill after floor framing
If you know exactly where your septic (and exact elevation), electrical service, and water is coming from you can get those services at a later time and just provide rough-in through the foundation. Although it usually involves keeping the backfill from those areas.

thanks Rich, there's a start.... what about contracts, do you use the same crue to the end of the project... :D
If you schedule your subcontractors correctly they should be there for a duration of time - then gone while drywall is being done and then back for final connections and inspections. The contract would cover them for the duration of the project not just the duration of their scope of work.
