Hey guys what size sf house would you pay $169,900 for?
I have a story behind this just want to see some peoples comments
1500-1700 sf depending on quality of materials if it's for home only - i.e. not including land.

Where I live, that would,'t even buy a 50 foot lot.

How about for a 1100 sf house with no garage and 2 bedrooms?
Ummm... I'll pass. Is there anything special about it?

Depends on what state. And depends on if it's brick, siding, stucco (siding / cement). Roofing and also windows.
Vegas: 1,500 sf
Michigan: 1,800 sf
Blythe: 6.000 sf
Beverly Hills 1,000 sf (2 bedroom condo-bare bones) or fixer-upper

Around here that would get you a typical 3br ranch built in the 60-70's that needed repair.

sounds like you're describing a garage apartment in Plano around Gleneagles area.
The builder was bragging to me, I can build these houses for $50k and sell them for $169k. I was like so pretty much you are selling a shitty product, he got upset.
