Hi there,
Does anyone have any suggestions for removing a cap from a 4 inch cast iron clean-out pipe? The cap probably hasn't been removed for many years and seems to solidly stuck. I even tried a 3 foot long monster pipe wrench with no success (all this did was chew up the stud on the cap). Please, any suggestions at all because accessing the main pipe by removing the toilet is a real sh*tty job. :?
Thanks!!

You might have to drill it out. I assume it is a plug with male threads. Drill lots of holes and break it out then with a hammer and chisel carefully knock out the threaded portion.
