I'm torn. The house I'm building will be sided with HardiPlank lap siding, the trim, including fascia is all MiraTEC.
The soffits are 13.5", 2' and 3'. Have tossed around the idea of using Hardi soffit panels, but their vented panels only go up to 24".
The original plans called for cedar plywood, and I suppose I could still do that, but I kinda hate to put in something that will age faster than everything else I'm putting on.
The attic is vented with ridge vents, so the soffits have to have venting also.
