Remodel / change truss configuration to raise ceiling height

I currently have 7'8" high celings with manufactured flat bottom cord type truss (fink truss). I would like to modify the existing truss to raise the ceiling height. What is an acceptable remodel method to maximize my ceiling height? Thank you.

Tear the roof off, tear the walls down, reframe at 8'.

Or...

Get an engineer and have them tell you if you can cut the trusses to increase the height.
