Aren't you a wealth of knowledge! This website is indeed cool. I've been looking for this kind of info. Is it a new site? Anyway, here' s my need of a fix concrete website (This will also be posted in the horror section one day). Oct. 02' we started constuction of a log home. Everything, went wrong. The excavator didn't dig the foundation hole deep enough, he ended up having to come back and finish, days later... There were springs all around were the footers were being placed. When this was brought up to the homeowner, he just laughed it off, not realizing what nasty soil conditions we were having to work through. Anyway, we got the concrete blocks up and finished for the basement & went to pour the basement floor. The concrete just didn't want to set up, the mason stayed till 11:00 that night, and kept finishing and finishing, he went home & it rained. It wasn't forecasted and the house was 1½ from where any of us lived. Of course by morning when we all got up there, the finish on the concrete floor cracked. We assured the homeowner it could be repaired, at our cost even, needless to say, we've never gotten paid for that job, the house continued to set over winter & of course the block wall cracked because back fill wasn't complete, because our draw wasn't paid, and we'd already spent an immense amount out of pocket. These people let their house go to hell over a lousey repair to the finish coat of a floor. So anyway, the website is a great find, beacause this info will be great for our court hearings in our law suit. Thanks again
