Modifying manufactured truss to raise ceiling

I currently have 7'8" high celings with manufactured flat bottom cord type truss (fink truss). I would like to modify the existing truss to raise the ceiling height. What is an acceptable remodel method to maximize my ceiling height? Thank you.

I wouldn't screw around with modifying an existing truss in any way shape or form. I would at least run the changes past the truss company and see what they say. I think I know what they will say.

Not saying it's impossible - but, like roger said, talk to the truss company. They'll have the final decision on how to do it, if at all.
