Lg. window by front door

Any suggestions for a replacement for a large window next to a front door? What would our options be if we want to limit visibility, keep heating & cooling costs low and be resistant to break ins? Thanks :)

Yeah but it is fun.

Seriously though, if security is a concern, nothing beats a barking dog and a well lighted exterior.

Cats just don't yowl loudly enough when you need them to.

I think we've decided on glass block... there's another house of the same style in the neighborhood that has it and it looks good... what do you think that would run (about 4'wide, 8' tall) ...I assume that the insulation would be good too...am I right? :)

Anyone know anything about this product?
