HE Hot water heater noise

I have a high efficency hot water heater and when the draft blower runs it is loud in the family room above. The pipe only runs thru 2 floor joist but the vibration seems to carry throughout the house.

Are there any products to isolate the pipe at the blower or other way to cut down the noise and vibration?

The noise you hear may be normal. Most people aare familiar with the one with the steel chimney which don't make any noise except maybe a whoof when it heats up. The new one with the fan are conciderably noisier but most people get used to it..........................maybe.
