I would like to expand my garage and need to find a good contractor in the Stafford VA area. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Hello Batch, I am over here in Lancaster, PA. I would love to build your garage for you, but distance is a factor. I can help you with the plan if you need one. Good Luck!

KSA - thanks for the reply. I need to find someone local that will design and build but thanks for the offer.
How far is Leesburg from where you are?
Do you have any specs on the house you want?
ie: square footage? 2 stories or 1?
I have someone in mind.

Did you find a contractor yet? If not, try Meckley Services - they're out of Alexandria. Tell 'em Earl sent ya...

Thanks for the replys and the offers of referrals. Sorry I have not checked in for a while - started a new job recently. I was at a home show a few months ago and saw insulated concrete forms and a product called Lite-Deck which I see as my solution as I want to expand my existing garage but will need to have a suspended slab for the garage floor in the addition as the house is built on a slope i.e. walkout basement.
I plan to build my 20x18 garage addition using ICFs and a local contractor that I can share the work with on the weekend and he will either do the pour with his pumper or supervise a full size pumper truck during the week.
Rabadger - Rich - we have exchanged emails in the past and I would like to open up another dialog on heating and cooling designs. I'd like to use radiant floor heat and a ceiling mounted A/C blower with compressor outside.
Thanks again
