Hey guys-
We just moved into our new home about two months ago. We knew going in that the bathrooms were bad. Not that we have anything against 1950's style pink tile, but it needed to be done.
A cotnracter friend of ours did the work. We covered the old floor tile with some nice 12X12 tiles from HD. A cheapo vent fan was added for some much needed ventilation. With the new vanity, medicine cabinet and light fixture we were good to go. The biggest problem was the pink border tile...
Our friend said he's used some two-part epoxy-style tile paint on a few jobs in the past with mixed results. Since the house is 40-50 years old with the original tile and plaster walls, we figured that if we're ever going to remove any of it, it'll all come down and we'll do it right. So that left us wth either pink tile or trying the tile paint out. It turned out absolutely awesome! Take a look and let me know what you think!

And now the new:

It may not be the biggest project, but it's amazing how different it can look with just a few changes. The last pic is the new countertop we had custom cut so the cabinet would sit flush on the wall. The pink one looks pretty fugly in there...
