Exterior House Design Software

I am interested in modifying the exterior of my house, including
adding a floor over the garage. I would like to use software on
my pc to design several exterior variations. Does anyone know of any free software to do this or if not, do you have a good suggestion for an inexpensive easy-to-use 3D design software package?

i really dont know of any free software but the two friendlyest i have seen are better homes and gardens home design located at http://www.homedesignersoftware.com/ and punch home design at http://www.punchsoftware.com/software_store.htm
Better homes soft is about $100.00 i belive and punch over double that .. hope that helps your quest

I subscribed to an online program that is pretty darn good. It's at www.plan3d.com. It's $10 for a year.

well, it's pretty cool.
