STOOLIN'

My cousin is trying, repeat, trying to do his own trimwork in his living room, - - starting with the window casings. He knows nothing about carpentry, - - but he 'tries'.

I already worked at his house all last week, - - free of charge, - - and refuse to do anymore, - - for a while, at least.

I gave him the complete explanation last week of installing the stool, the jamb extensions, the casing, the apron, and all that.

Here's the beginning of last night's 'real-life' phone call, - - and he's gettin mad because I'm L'ingMAO, - -


RING - - RING - - RING

TR - - "Hello"

CUZ - - "Hey, I got problems, - - I'm havin' trouble with my stool"

TR - - "Well, you better get right to the Doctor"

CUZ - - "No, seriously, - - you know the backside"?

TR - - "Yeah, - - but that's where your stool is supposed to come out"

CUZ - - "C'mon, man, - - is the underside of my stool supposed to be angled"?

TR - - "Well, it's a lot less painful if it's tapered".

CUZ - - "C'mon, man, - - seriously, - - I need help with this"

TR - - "Yeah, but I'm just a carpenter, - - you need a Doctor"


Think I gave him the 'hint'?!? :lol:


P.S. My last comment could have been, - - I don't deal with a$$holes, - - but that may have been a might too crude. :lol:

Or, do like I do, call my mistakes "character" and live with them. :wink:
