windows for new construction

Been looking at Pella windows for our new house. Ive heard they are the best. What Im wondering is if there are other quality windows out there for less money. I don't mind paying the money if Pella is that much better than everything else out there but I dont want to pay for the name.

Don't know if they are the best - they have the best marketing probably. Top of the line window manufacturers are probably (IMO) Pella, Pozzi (Jeld-Wen), Marvin, and Anderson. All excellent windows. I would probably send a window/door schedule to all of them and get a price.
