Question about a Brand of tools

Hi,

I keep seeing great prices for tools by the name Chicago Electric and Central Pneumatic. Anyone use these tool and if so what is the quality? I have seen them mainly in the Air Nilers and Mitre Saw line of power tools. I usually use Makita, Dewalt and Senco and have not had a problem with either brand so it may be hard to switch if i need to buy something new but if the brand is good, makes great gifts.

Those are the Harbor Freight "house" brands, I belive.

Look at them in person if you have a harbor freight store nearby.

I doubt you'll buy them. You will understand why they are so cheap.

For right now, I'm working the hardware department of my newly-opened local HD. I had two guys come in yesterday asking about framing nailers. I took them over to show them the nailers. Their jaws dropped when they saw the prices, and quipped that Harbor Freight has nailers for $100. All I could say without laughing is "These are quality nailers, gentlemen." I've bought a couple power tools there, and won't be again...
