That is truly a funny post. I would have dug down and put the garage at street level underground.
OMG - that's funny. What Grumpy suggested or had a basement level garage.. something like a daylight basement.

Yeah, a basement garage is most likely how they will fix it.
Here are some more pics.

I think it's real, the photos don't look chopped. Someone somewhear is getting sued/fired.
I just happen to have 4 low - but I still think I'd have a helluva time if it ever got a breath of snow on it. LOL

4 low would be great, but you better remove your bumper because there wouldn't be much left after a few days

I was thinking the same thing. I'm hoping to start building my house myself this summer. I feel so much better about it now! :D
BTW, this is a great board!
Thanks..
It's starting to grow and get more traffic. Let me know if I can help in any way.

The fact that the driveway even got poured makes me wonder how some people have survived in the world. I guess ignorance is bliss.

That's it now I have seen every thing. I haul drywall scrapes away for several drywall companies. At least a hundred homes a year. I have never seen anything quite like that. Where is that?
Hello every one I can't remember if I've posted here before or not. I just found this site a few weeks ago and have been meaning to come back and visit.
Real names Randy Scott I own Scotts Dependable Services Inc. Located 30 miles north of Indianapolis, Indiana. We do construction clean-up, mowing and light land scape. Looks like an interesting site. 8)
I don't believe you've posted before.. either way welcome to the forum. Let me know if you need anything.

It looks like from the photos that the neighboring houses have a similar (though not quite as severe) problem. Anyone who buys one of these disasters deserve what they get. Imagine trying to get into the garage if it was icy? Plus, most cars would high-center as they got halfway into the garage. Do you suppose the local inspectors actually signed off on these?
Ciao for now!
CurtisS
If they did sign off they should've been fired on the spot. One of an inspectors major jobs is to inspect to keep the public safe. Imagine a car inching down in the winter and a child walks by on the sidewalk... and the car lets loose.

Those house were built in full expectation of next year's forthcoming 100-year flood, for owners who constantly have to replace their starters and/or ring gears! I'm laughing myself silly, to the point of having a stomache, Thanks for the best laugh in 12 months.

Are we expecting ANOTHER 100-year flood next year? I certainly hope not. We survived (barely) Isabel this past year with 8.5' water and 10 days w/o electricity!
