I plan to wall off a portion of my shop building, and use 2 home built doors to fill in 7' x 6'8" opening in the new wall. That makes each door approx. 3'6" wide. I would like to find a source for plans or ideas on how to fabricate what I need. I recall seeing a DIY program that included a custom built door, but don't remember all the details. Any suggestions will be appreciated
If you're not wanting a high end custom door but something thats strong and light I would suggest a torsion type panel. Essentially you make a 2x2 frame or 1x4 (depends on the thickness wanted) and then skin it in some type of sheeting (screwed and glues). Add some hinges and wallah - It makes a very strong lightweight door.

That's probably what I'll do. No need for fancy here, just practicality. I found some inexpensive 1/4" paneling for the walls, so I'll just get some more to make the doors. Thanks a bunch....
