hang WHAT?!?!?..... Gutters will be going up soon.... I was wondering is there a "standard" depth the shingles are supposed to hang into the gutters when they're installed? I have 8" FASCIA - I guess I "could" hang the gutters too low and cause a lot of splash-over. Too high and I'll have a lot of wicking......

Thanks for the feedback - pix of the project coming soon - just finished the roof (COMPLETE) yesterday.... (atta boys are welcome...)

At high end of gutter, with that much fascia, I line front edge of gutter with straight edge on roof slope. Then try for 1" to 1 1/2" fall for 20', where the outlet will be, in ideall situation. Just my opinion, based on MY preferences. Each situation is different and I don't always get to follow my own preference.
I just offer this as a possible guideline. ( astetics will have to factored in.)
