room addition

hello, I am in the process of adding space to my master bedroom. I have many things to consider, especially the materials used for construction. My question is...the main house is constructed of block, should I build my addition with the same block, or is wood frame another option? Will the use of different materials make a diiference in a real estate appraisal or for resale. My intentions are to stucco the new room and the remainder of the main house to match. What do you think?

I personally don't see an issue with using different materials. But who knows what the real estate market would say. I couldn't say there is or isn't any benefit of going with wood or block as it pertains to resale value.
Maybe someone else has an answer.. anyone?
As far as a structural issue - it's non-existant.
