Merry Christmas all. As a thank you for all your helpful advice and playful banter I want to save you guys some time.
Here: www.bestexteriors.com/pricing.xls you can save yourself time. Download the estimating spreadsheet I use for most of my projects. It's fairly simple to use, but you NEED Microsoft Exel.
Ho Ho Ho! Bahumbug
Right on.. and thanks. I've got one that I just finished up that tracks budget, buyout, buyout savings, current billing, ttd, and remaining.
It also allows you to input a quantity, labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs that auto update the budget quantities.. you can then hide those columns and it's a billing tool.
That's a great one Grumpy. Hey you wouldn't be willing to do a slate and copper job in Colorado would you? Or possibly give me at least a budget #?

I doubt we would install it, but I could find the time to budget it for you.
We've got our guys currently on a slate job, very architectural with "diminishing exposures" we've never done a diminishing exposure job before and it's turning out to be MUCH easier than we thought.
I haven't done any full takeoffs of what is copper and what is slate yet. I'll get you some info if you want.
