Should I insulate under tub

Is it a good idea to insulate around a tub for noise? I wasn't sure if it would not be code or if it would cause moisture problems?

I always insulate extra under and at least around the tub walls that are along exterior walls, - - not so much for noise, - - but it'll keep the bath water warmer longer, - - use 'unfaced' insulation or just tear off the paper, - - moisture shouldn't be a problem.
