A friend of mine is helping me lay peel and stick tiles on a bathroom floor where we've laid down a sheet of multiply plywood. It was recommended by flooring people that we put down a layer of clear thin spread so that the adhesive in the tiles won't dry out.
My question is, is it a good or bad idea to first treat the plywood with a coat of Thompson's Water Seal before the clear thin spread. From a waterproofing point of view it's smart, but will it work with the clear thin spread?
Thanks,
Donald
