Hello everyone! im planning to change my gate into the sliding type (manual). But my concern is that my existing gate is 6 meters wide and i wanted it to open in 2 panels (just like a sliding window), so that it wont be very heavy when opening it. I wanted the 1st panel to open from left to right, then left or right for the 2nd panel. Is this possible?
Sure - a couple pipe rollers, some pipe, and a small wheel for each gate. Essentially the pipe rollers attach the top and bottom of the gate.. the pipes attach to the fence (or whatever is there).. and the small wheel goes at the inside edge of the gate to hold it up. The top pipe roller should have a top and bottom roller so it doesn't pop off.

I don't know why you'd pm me and ask for my opinion. If I had one on the subject I'd give it to you.
That's what the forum is for haitong - asking questions. We all see the same thing when you post it - so if we have a suggestion we'll post it.
BTW - I got the same PM :)

thanks guys... is there any alternative solution for not making a top roller for the gate so that container trucks can get inside?
The top roller does not go overhead..
this is real similar to what we have setup on our jobsites.
