We have been getting an unusual amount of rain in Southern California and it's really slowing things down.

I like how you're using LVL's for walk planks while an OSHA approved walk plank is leaning up against the wall outside.

But then again you're working over 9' without safety rails or fall protection so if someone gets hurt you're screwed anyway.

Interesting to see access control on a residence - don't see many people doing that. It's a good idea though.
Dragon - isn't it over 6' by OSHA? :)

Oops, yep you're correct.

9' is for when using ladder jacks, 6' on scaffolding.

if you look even closer, you'll see that the scaffoldiong on the stair landing isn't even connected with cross bracing. It's tied to the pony wall with orange tie-downs.

Rich, by access control you mean my fence? You wouldn't belive what walks of the site here. Just last night someone stole just the slider out of the sliding glass door.

Yeah I've heard that S. CA has a real theft problem on jobsites. Security fencing is standard practice.

Emer - yes the fence. Standard practice for most commercial jobs - just haven't seen them much on residential projects.
