Paint rollers and covers, finish hammer, utility knife, caulking gun and various types of caulk (silicon, paintable, etc), paint brushes in various sizes and types, screwdrivers, screwgun, etc..
Think of working on doors, windows, cabinets, tile, paint, flooring, trim, etc..etc..

Ive found the 18v, 4 piece DeWalt cordless kit to be invaluable for punch out as well as little in and out jobs. If you watch the offers that are out there, sometimes they throw in a jobsite radio or extra battery. I think it was like $499.

Used to. Worked for a builder as an independent after his rough crews went on to the next jobs. Worked out ok....just stressful at times.
