Hi,
I'm getting ready to order the silding glass doors for my addition, I'm using 2 6'0" x 6'8" wood clad doors (from either Milgard or Marvin) and I wanted to confirm how wide I should order the jamb.
The walls are framed 2x4 with 5/8" shear ply on the exterior (just doing board and batten so there' sno additional siding or such) and 5/8" drywall on the interior. Obviously when I add that up.. it's 4-3/4" It looks like the standard jamb side is 4-9/16".
Should I order the Jamb at 4-3/4" or am I missing something?
Thanks!
Matt
