Anyone use an inline fan system for bathroom ventilation? Ive got 3.5 bathrooms that Id like to ventilate and Im curious about the remote mounted systems that are out there?
I like the quiet exhaust concept. How well do they ventilate? Do all ducts exhaust when one is turned on or is there an independant control of some sort? Any brands to look for/stay away from?
Thanks,
Roger
I'm putting in remote fans on all the bathrooms in my current project. They have tested very well.. probably the one caveat we've run into is accessibility to the fans in some areas.

I'm not familiar with an 'inline fan system'. However, I'm planning on venting two of my bathrooms using one duct. Both fans have back-flow preventors in them, and they'll rarely both be on at the same time, so I think it will work...

Find a brand that will only pull from the room that is being used. I know there are some out there. I haven't messed with any the last couple of years.

The bath fans like Broan and Nutone are rated according HVI. The CFM rating that is listed for the fan is at 0 static pressure. When you intall duct to the outdoors the actual performance drops a lot.
