heres the scenario.
3 guys putting roof sheating on a 12 and 12 pitch roof (thats a 45 degree sloped roof) two stories up (from top of roof to ground is aprox. 45'-60' drop). An old skill saw. (it barely ran). The boss in the front of the house where he cant see any of us. A piece of 6"x6" post material. (2'-3' long) And a very warped sence of humor.
step 1- get old saw and 6x6 up on roof without boss seeing them.
step 2- wait for boss to go out front. ( I accidently dropped my speed square and asked him to get it for me)
step 3- start up old skill saw and let it hit wood with a binding noise drop it in front area of house where it wont hit anyone.
step 4- let out blood curdling scream!!! have others chime in with appropriate sub screams.
step 5- toss 6x6 down back side of house where it cant hit anyone.
step 6- wait for boss to come hauling ass into the back yard expecting to see dead worker on ground.
step 7- all say April fools!
step 8- pray he dont fire all of us!!!
FYI it worked perfectly!!!
