Hang New Interior Doors

I'm going to be installing my oak doors tonight. First time ever putting in a door from scratch (replaced front exterior door) and wonder if you have any pointers. I know I need to use shims at the top, center and bottom and in the middle on the top of the door, can I use normal finish nails to put it in or do I need to use something beefier?
