Yup. Easy to install untill you get to doorways. They also advise that your runs shouldn't be any longer than around 21 feet or so before putting in a transition piece. I personally don't like it but when we sold the house the new people raved about it and it seems a lot of people like it. I just bought another house and I won't use it again. To me it looks cheap though I'm the only one who thinks that.

What is hard about the doorways Roger?

I would think going under jambs with it and getting of "locked" in. Wouldn't be bad without jambs and base trim in.

Rich is exactly right. It's really hard to explain but when you get to that point it hits you like a ton of bricks. I cut under the casing thinking that would solve the problem but it didn't. I should have cut under the jamb. Not easy. They do rent special saw that cut under jambs. At least that way you get a nice even cut.
The other thing to remember is that some instances where it really is impossible to make the "click" you cut off the bottom half of the groove or sometimes even the tongue, and you glue those pieces together. They don't tell you about these tricks but speak to some people who have done it and you get a bit of info here and a bit there.
I still thinkthey look cheap and they do come apart very very slightly every so often. I just saw a place that they paid $5200.00 to get it done and though it was very well done in the door ways ( I looked there first) there was still some slight separation. They tell you that the cracks will close again. Don't believe it. When a little dirt get in the crack how on earth will it close.
