What brand of gas furnace?

does anyone have any experience with Rheem gas furnaces? In my new house, they usually install Trane XB80. I believe that is Trane's lowest price gas furnace, but I have heard that Trane is a very good brand. They switched HVAC contractors though, and he installed a Rheem Criterion in my house. Both these models are AFUE of 80% I have heard the Rheem in one other home and boy, it was NOISY!! May have been a bad install or defective unit. I have heard the Trane and it was very quiet. Any advice?

Either Rheem or Trane are good choices. There are other models that are making a run on these 2 but not many are too close. I've had a couple people talk to me about poor equipment with Trane (in a commercial application though) but most of the talk about them are positive. Haven't heard much by way of conversation about Rheem.
Just what I read in the papers or trade magazines.
