How do I side this and keep the runoff off?? [Archive]

Im worried about water getting in behind the porch siding as it runs off the porch since the porch has no overhangs (areas indicated by dotted lines). I suppose i could stick a 2inch piece of roof flashing under the porch floor boards, sticking out an inch or so over the side of the porch but that would look clunky. Anyone have any idea of waht piece i need?

Does the porch floor have any overhang at all? Or else just use window flashing which would only show about 1/2 an inch.
