Need help with these numbers?

I am looking at a lot on the end of a culd a sac , and i am trying to figure if this lot is 1 acre or more? I am comparing it with other lots that tell if it is .85 or 1.3 acres , but all this lot has is the feet!

173.4 x 182.4 x 465.18 x 317.13

Is there a formula to use so i wont have to bug you guy's, but i am at loss here.

53,482 sf = approximately 1.22 acres. That is a best guess on the shape of it though so I would imagine it's the 1.3 acres.

Hey Rich.....without knowing the angles of the "corners", I don't see how you can possibly come up with the amount of square feet in that lot......it could be anywhere from fairly close to a rectangle, which would contain a lot of sqft, to a lonnnnnnnnggg skinny parallelogram looking thing with very little sqft.......and if it's on a cul-de-sac, most likely there is a radius involved on one of the dimensions.

Brent: those angles will be found on a recorded plat or the legal description on a deed.

Based on the dimensions being given in that order I would expect the lot to be an odd-shaped diamond.

New to the site... but I wanted to add that there are 43,560 square feet in 1 acre. This usually helps if you can get an accurate area of your lot.

also a great way to remember this area of an acre if you are from the midwest is

43560 = 4 guys driving down I 35 at 60 miles per hour.

A football field is 300' x 150', or 45000 s.f. I find it easy to think of an acre as about the size of a football field.
