What do you think of the new Ridgid line of nail guns? I'm not a big fan of Ridgid, but they seem to have all the right features. thinking of giving them a try.

If it says Ridgid on it I won't own it.

Rigid makes some good plumbing tools though. I heard they were bought by HD though, so I expect the quality of those to go the way of the corporate bean counter. I have one of their shop-vacs too, works fine.

I wouldn't accept a free Rigid nailer.

I actually like Ridgid a lot. I've replaced all the DeWalt stuff I used to use with Ridgid, and I'm much happier with it. They also have reinstated their lifetime warranty.
Can anybody give any specifics as to why they don't like Ridgid?
I have no interest in their nail guns for the simple reson that I have everything I need in that departemnt already. Several months ago I posted about a deal where Senco was selling a angled trim gun, brad nailer and stapler for $219.99. That deal dissapeared though. Saw it come back early this week and snapped one up.

And to address the original question. They're brand new. They have no history, so they could be the best guns ever, the worst, or anywhere in between. Won't know until people use them for a while.

Home Depot. Last time I only saw it online, this time I don't see it there.

I picked up this deal as well. I've only used the angled nailer for finishing a little trim in my addition, never even went through a half a box of finish nails. I need to find something else to do with these, they're just sitting in my garage now.

I bought rigid cordless set last year b/c it was priced right last year. After 1 week I returned it. THe battery life was awful and the saw sucked. THe new pnuematics look like they are made of plastic. I wouldnt touch them with a 10' pole. I stick with my Porter cable sets. They havent let me down yet.

I considered buying the Ridgid finish nailer (16 ga) yesterday, but the PC was on sale for $159, so I got it instead. I've liked the ones I've looked at so far, I wouldn't object to buying one. A lifetime warranty is pretty appealing.
